I have a love/hate with this book as it’s my second non-Empyrean book of hers. While I overall enjoyed the story as heartbreaking as it was at times, I was slightly annoyed because the MMC seemed like a prequel to another MMC Wingleader. Like same dude, different universe. The book itself was great. Being woven into the complicated lives of Ella & Beckett two very broken people trying to fix themselves. How much heartbreak can two people take. In the end I’m glad they found one another and true happiness. An amazing sacrifice of love and loss.
