Cognac Villain by Nicole Fox

5.0

She's done it again by releasing another immaculate novel. Nicole Fox is the undisputed queen of mafia romances. Every time I discover that she has an upcoming release, it feels like my birthday. I just absolutely adore this couple. Nicole's mafia books mostly seem to follow the same pattern. This one, on the other hand, did not. It felt like a breath of fresh air, and it kept me anticipating what was going to unfold next. I was so engrossed by this novel that I am left wanting more. (Thank goodness it's a duet). Plus the plot's suspense and mystery, and don't get me started with the end of the story. With all of the twists and turns, this novel truly took me in surprising directions, and I just loved every minute of it.

“I just know I’ve seen the way Ivan looks at you. He doesn’t look at you like he wants to kill you; he looks at you like he wants to devour you.”
