Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother by Amy Chua

4.0

I thank Amy Chua for her candor and raw account. Such exposure is what kept me reading the book because otherwise, I would have tossed it aside. She is definitely not someone I would allow near me or my family, though I'm sure she is charming in person.
There is no doubt that such parenting is alive and well today. Good for those who it works for. As for my household, it most certainly does not. I cannot empathize or share 99% of her views in this book. But it did share insight as to what it takes to reach certain levels of success. Def worth a read if you have children in any aspect of life.
