finding out this was written by a man makes everything about this book make a lot more sense. oh brother THIS GUY STINKS!!!!
the writing in this book was so terrible that i truly thought it was satire at times, and oh how i WISH it was satire! this book is baked into a specific setting of 2016 pink pussy hat feminists, though it was published in 2021 and written by a man. it’s more of a 1.5 stars and i’m rounding up because i am kind. the only reason that this redundant, dumb book gets that much is because the idea of the plot could be interesting, and it had me baited enough to keep reading in hopes the story would turn around. but i would not recommend it to anyone. also, the only person on earth who can get away with not using quotation marks is sally rooney. not this guy.
