Everything I Don't Remember by Jonas Hassen Khemiri

4.0

I received this from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is an interesting concept of a novel, a compulsive read that will leave you wanting more. It examines the life of Samuel, through the eyes (and voices) of those who are left behind after his death. It uses first person throughout, with no explanations of who is speaking. I expected to be confused by this, but it is really well done, and I did not have any issues with this. The accounts are often on different timetables, but this also just adds to the story. As it unfolds, it's like a train hurtling down the track, heading towards its doom and you can't take your eyes off of it. Highly recommended.
