Intermezzo by Sally Rooney
5.0
gosh i loved this. rooney is so great at exploring life and relationships beyond monogamy and patriarchal expectations within the structure of a classical novel. the way she plays with form here through peter’s pov in particular was thrilling. already excited to re-read this once it has sat with me for awhile and i’ve explored all the inevitable cultural hot takes.
