We Are the Fallen by YD La Mar

5.0

Excuse me while I attempt to find the words to describe how much I loved yet another Y.D. La Mar book. Nearly impossible!

Y.D. drives the bus, barreling down the streets of deep gray-black writing style and I can never seem to get enough.
I will say that We Are the Fallen was a bit on the softer side from what you would normally read from this author, but it was still just as impactful.
This post apocalyptic, zombie story was fantastic and I binged it so quickly! It was filled with angst and tension between the FMC & MMC which I could not get enough of. Khalil (MMC) isn't your typical pretty boy and that made me crave him so much more.
This book is filled with lust, physical & emotional pain, suspense, and the constant feeling of needing to look over your shoulder.
And the best part is it leaves you on a cliffhanger!!! BOOO... I can't wait to read more of Khalil and Zolimar's journey.
