Margot & Me by Juno Dawson
4.0

A wonderful story of love, loss and family that combines contemporary and historical brilliantly. I absolutely loved the parts of the story that followed Margot as a teen evacuee during WWII, and seeing how reading about it affected Fliss in her own life, and her relationship with Margot. Fliss is a very realistic character - annoying at times but still very likeable. There is a small element of a a student-teacher crush, which always makes me a bit wary, but it was handled well. Recommended for YA fans.
