I love a cute grumpy/sunshine story especially where you add love in a small town, nosy but caring neighbours and a coffee shop where you can gladly enjoy a pumpkin spice latte. Small town and sunshine/grumpy stories are becoming my favourite tropes recently. It’s so endearing, so lighthearted and it makes happy. It’s also perfect for spring and summer.
The first time I saw this book I was automatically attracted by the cover that was so colourful and I was in for a ride. I’ve never heard of it before buying it and I don’t regret it. It’s so cute and you can not not get attached to Jeannie, Logan, Hazel, Annie, Noah; even the mayor and Mac with his trivia nights. It’s so heartwarming and I’m in love with this mood.
I’d you’re looking for a sweet slow burn and following a FMC looking for a fresh start in a small town, let me tell you that you’re going to love this book. 🥹🥹
