The Magician's Nephew by C.S. Lewis

5.0

My personal favorite Narnia book. It’s a very simple and straightforward tale, but the simplicity serves it well. We have some of the best characters, especially our two leads. The villains are also delightful. We get the beginnings of Narnia, and the beginnings of the White Witch, even how the wardrobe came to be.This is also the only book that has genuine comedic moments, specifically the animals interacting with Uncle Andrew. If you only read one Narnia book, this is the one to read.
