More like a 4.5, but I'll bump it up.
I liked it. I completely forgot about this book after I finished with the Kate Daniels book. I think I attempted to read it, couldn't because it's a spin-off, then had a friend tell me I should, forgot about it, and can't even remember what made me think to read it. Perhaps I was looking at a list and saw it, but, anyway, I have FINALLY read it and I liked it. You definitely wanted to smack them sometimes, but it worked. I liked learning more about Andrea and I liked how she had her own mystery to solve like Kate does. I like how she finally came to terms with her role in the Pack and who she was. I think it was a little too neat, but whatever. It mostly worked. The mystery was interesting and I liked seeing Ascanio and him trying to learn. Raphael was, well, Raphael. You couldn't expect much different from him, but I loved how he punked and then her revenge back on him. I also liked the novella at the end that explained what Kate had been doing during the storyline.
