The story itself was fine, I enjoyed it but probably won’t re-read. The reason I gave 4 stars is for the number of misdirects this book has. I’d be getting into the story, getting invested in the lives of the characters, only to find out that what I’d just read didn’t actually happen. There were multiple stories within this story, and FIVE different Anton Shammas’ in total! I love not know where the story will go, and in this case, I loved not knowing what was real or not until the end.
