chills, as always ... woolf captures so much of the human experience in this book, and i really think it gets better with every reread. took a bit of a fine-toothed comb to it this time (read it with pencil in hand), and there truly are so many beautiful lines & images & threads that are so artfully woven together. i caught so many more repetitions & connections this time around.

anyway, i adore this book. it makes me cry.
