My favorite of the Friday Harbour series. Both Zoe and Alex are great characters, it's a great plot, etc. The only thing I didn't understand was Alex's sudden decision to stop drinking. I understand that it had to be for himself and not Zoe, and that it was obviously a good decision to make, I guess the reasons were clear to him but not me. Anyway, all-in-all a great read :)
