I have extremely mixed feelings about this book because on one hand I literally couldn’t put it down and I couldn’t wait to continue reading this 

I was very invested and I think that was mostly due to the writing style and this kind of mafia world felt very different to the other mafia romances I have read before 

BUT the thing I DESPISED waa the way sex and women were viewed from the male characters 

I understand that these are mafia men and that this is a mafia world and it is expected of them…. That doesn’t mean I want to hear it. Sometimes the words coming out of these men’s mouths made me want to throw up 

Most of the time I sort of forgot about it because this wasn’t an every page thing and then I’d have a great time and I’d absolutely love the book, until Fabiano or someone else would say the most disgusting thing and I’d just want to throw my headphones and phone out the window (I listened to the audiobook)

So yeah idk I can’t give this book more than 3,5 ⭐️ because of that even though I really enjoyed the story in itself 

I will be reading the second book in this series because I’ve heard amazing things about it but if that one isn’t AMAZING then I’m just gonna accept that Cora Reilly isn’t for me
