What can I say about Oyeyemi? She hits all the right spots for me. Lush, gorgeous prose. Stories that are always a bit fantastical. Queer relationships aplenty. I just love her writing. Didn't give her five stars for this one because I felt some of the stories were a bit long, and the one with puppeteers wasn't actually all that interesting to me. But in general, this is a very strong collection.
