Rachel does not miss. Absolute banger. What am I supposed to do with my life now. Rachel writes such an interesting tale of religion and its grasp on society and, like the Omens’ tools, have a good and bad side. She writes amazing themes and messages throughout in such a beautiful and lyrical manner. I adore these characters, the gargoyle is my absolute favorite, and the relationships are written in a way that enhances the story and doesn’t overpowering it. I love that Sybil is a symbol for femininity, fragility and etherealness but with the support of those around her grows in strength and confidence in herself outside of the religion she was devoted to.
Moderate: Confinement, Cursing, Death, Drug use, Emotional abuse, Violence, Blood, Vomit, Grief, Religious bigotry, Murder, Toxic friendship, Abandonment, Alcohol, Injury/Injury detail, Classism
