Something evil lurks in the plastic house.

This book was liquid, and I was sponge. I didn't just read it, I absorbed it.

When I started this, I didn't expect to be hooked from the very first chapter. I was instantly captivated and could not put this one down. The FMC was brilliant, I loved her narration. Sometimes, first-person narration can bore me, but not here at all. She was the perfect blend of tough and vulnerable.

The plot was very well executed and kept me on my toes and the edge of my seat. There was suspense, mystery, emotion, trauma, toxicity, and so much deceit and betrayal. There wasn't a single moment I felt bored at all. Despite there not being many suspects, the twist was still unexpected and jarring. We were led to believe one thing so much that I was resigning myself to accepting it. I couldn't have been more wrong, and when the harrowing truth was revealed, I was mind blown.

This book was my first by this author and man. I can't wait to see what else she does. It wasn't just thrilling but filled with emotional moments that can really tug at your heartstrings. I was left satisfied at the end. I wanted nothing more because this book gave me everything I needed from it. It was an excellent read.
