I loved everything about this book - the writing, narration, character development, storyline, and so much more. Vicky is the bomb diggity, and she loves the West Coast just like I do!!
If you want to know more about refugees (this time from Vietnam) and understand the desperation of people being kidnapped by ICE in Los Angeles, you need to read or listen to this book. It is a real education!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book from beginning to end!!
