This was my favorite of this series so far and will make have to reevaluate my top 5 books of the year. I enjoyed that this was faster paced than the previous volumes which did drag a bit at certain points for me. But nothing like that occured in this book. I was highly engaged pretty much from start the beginning.

It certainly will continue to get harder and harder to write spoiler free thoughts the further I am into the series so I try to keep this vague. A main theme in this book was our protagonists rise to fame and power throughout the universe and how that can be a very negative thing especially with the rise of envy and distrust from other people in power. And yeah all of that got explored and displayed superbly. There was also a fairly large discovery and research part toward the main Mystery of the series and that just got super interesting in general especially in regards to our protagonists super power
The Halfmortal!

Another favorite was the climax of the story. Things looked really bleak and hopeless for our main cast but then ended in a very heroic and epic fashion that you already come to expect from this series as it really nails these grand and epic moments!
