I read this having already seen the film, and enjoyed this far more. I finished it probably within a couple of hours, it was something I wanted to finish quickly thanks to how relatable the character was as well as the sheer comedy of the characters and the events. One of the best comedic novels I have ever read, and I would undoubtedly reread it over and over again.
