Before I start this review I'd like to know why I've never seen this book on booksta or TikTok?! This book deserves more hype! The MMC Lauchlan, made me laugh throughout the whole book it's not every day that you read a book with a dramatic and funny MMC like him 😂 Layla the FMC was a little bit weird at first. She was sarcastic and had a dry sense of humour, but at some point she became relatable ( she doesn't like people, or going out,...). Throughout the book we could see what a fighter and courageous strong woman Layla actually is. What keeps you reading this book is the mystery surrounding Layla’s disappearance for 3 years and why Lachlan wants revenge. It’s also a cute and angsty story. I really enjoyed Claire's writing style. I strongly recommend you read this book, you won't regret it at all.
