Oh man! I adored this book! π
At the start, I thought I was in for some mystery, paranormal, adventure, and a dose of creepy. I got every one of those things, but the heart that was in this book? The self discovery and acceptance? The familial tension and generational traumas handed down? I should have expected it to be more than I anticipated, given Matteo Cerilli gave so much more than expected in his debut, but it still surprised and delighted me. The ending of this book in particular was so heart achingly sweet π₯Ή
Give this book a shot! I adored every second!
