The Chemist
by Stephenie Meyer
I'm not a fan of the Twilight series but I loved The Host, so of course I was going to read this book by Stephenie Meyer that has nothing to do with Twilight. I didn't like this as much as I liked The Host though. There were a lot of things that didn't make sense and were wayyy too convenient; like how it was so easy for
So yeah, a lot of the plot depended on the characters being simple and everything turning out so convenient for them. However, if we put that aside and just focus on the storytelling, Stephenie Meyer's writing is really easy to read and enjoy. The story flowed well and I was still entertained by it, but I don't see myself rereading this book anytime soon. It was good for me as an escape and distraction from real life though.

Daniel to forgive Alex for what she did to him. I mean, really?? Also, the twin thing should've been pretty obvious for someone who was supposed to be a genius and one step ahead of all the assassins that had ever gone after her. Not to mention, for someone who was so paranoid and took such extreme measures with her security in the beginning, she was really forthcoming about telling the truth about everything to Kevin, and later on trusted Val too easily. So yeah, a lot of the plot depended on the characters being simple and everything turning out so convenient for them.
