Without Merit by Colleen Hoover
3.0

I usually love Colleen Hover's books. I can't put them down they are so addictive. While this book was still a pager turner it also felt like a bad after school special for depression.

As someone who has actually dealt with depression, for a the last 9 years, I feel her solutions are too simple, easy and unrealistic. I believe she wrote this from the right place. From a place where she wanted to help and bring awareness to serious issues like depression. But to do this I feel she lost some of the magic that usually exists in her book and did really shine the light on depression the way it deserved. The main character's problems were to easy to solve.
