Each Perry Mason novel is different in its content--its guest characters & plot twists--but they're all the same inasmuch how satisfying it is to see Perry solve the jigsaw that is each murder. Whether with the courtroom denouments the series has become famous for or the rare occassion where the case doesn't even get to trial before Perry's revealed the true killer, I love that he always solves it midway through the novel but we don't get to know any sooner than the jury does. Half the fun is getting to see what he'll do with the true facts and how he reveals them 🤔
