kaybrooke 's review for:
The Burning Page
by Genevieve Cogman
It's really a 3 star, but I thought the ending was phenomenal, so I stuck on an extra star for that. The rest of the book is kind of all over the place. It kind of feels like the characters are stuck going random places, doing random things or having random things happen to them, and the point of the story doesn't become clear until well past the halfway mark. But it's the third book in the series, and if I've read this far it means I have some investment in the characters and I plan to continue even if this one was a bit structurally weak.
