Okay, it's getting a bit better.
A Court of Fire and Metal is the second installment of the War of the Gods series. In it, you will have moments where Cass is a bad ass or likable.. but then she kind of just ends up frustrating me a bit. Here or there.. but I just, ugh, don't get it! I like her and her mates.. but it was ugh.
I did, however, enjoy the smut! Mostly because then Cass wasn't annoying the shit out of me. I did, also, really like her powers because they intrigue me. Especially when she was using her powers to be a freaking bad ass and to show people to not underestimate her. Of course, they still did.. but oh well.
Other than that, the ending was a bit dramatic. Maybe it's just me.. but hot damn, I just didn't like it!
