Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, Vol. 3 by Kanehito Yamada

adventurous reflective fast-paced

3.5

I'm not comfortable with the book's view of demons, though I have at least some faith in a writer this sensitive to try to complicate the black-and-white view offered in volumes 2-3. Beyond that, this was a bit weaker, but still not bad. There's a core of calm thoughtfulness to these that really helps it stand out from other adventure titles.
