That Night
by Chevy Stevens
It's been a minute since I couldn't put a thriller down and finished it in one sitting. I started this one before bed, and then read way past my bedtime because I was so drawn in. Toni and her boyfriend were convicted as teenagers of murdering Toni's younger sister. They've always maintained their innocence. Toni is now out on parole and wants to start a new life, but she can't leave her old one behind. She's swept up in both staying out of harm's way and finally discovering the truth. This one did a great job of storytelling as it goes between the past and present, and ending with a great twist to reveal the truth of what really did happen that night.
