Kristen Callihan is seriously changing up the New Adult genre for me. Sure her books are the standard cliché storylines but her character arcs are fantastic and the relationships between her characters are fresh, comedic and makes it so enjoyable.
The Friend Zone is my favourite in the series. I love the flirty banter relationship between Gray and Ivy, how it's so honest in the beginning and slowly goes into the more serious route. The book does get a little dramatic at times but it makes sense with a relationship like theirs as they're so alike and soon enough they're expected to clash. I truly love how Kristen wrote Gray in a way that he wasn't ashamed or scared to show his sensitive side, a lot more authors could learn from it. Guys have feelings too.
