Radical Intimacy by Sophie K. Rosa

challenging informative inspiring reflective medium-paced

0.5

Rosa continues to queer the nuclear family again and again. She dives deep into the way capitalism is an everyday terror, and the ways in which capitalism informs every single space, most particularly, the private sphere. Despite our inability to escape the limitations of capitalism, her reflections reveal ways we can challenge the system by starting in the home. Most importantly, we must confront the home in all of it's manifestations: it's concept, it's taken-for-grantedness, it's power to hurt and harm, and it's power to heal once we can define it for ourselves.
