This seems to be a quintessential slice-of-life story that I had yet to read. It was adapted into a class Studio Ghibli movie that I've also not seen yet. And I can't believe I waited this long to read this book! It's a short ~5 hour audiobook that I just couldn't seem to put down. I was almost finding excuses to clean or do other things just so I could continue listening to the audiobook. It was just such a fun, atmospheric story about a young girl who has to travel to a new town as is tradition for all the witches in her family. All of the characters were so whimsical and I loved seeing all of Kiki's travels and her learning how towns may differ from her own hometown. I loved seeing her build new friendships, and I especially loved the cat, Jiji. I only knocked 0.5 stars off just because I don't think it's a new all time favorite, but it was definitely adorable and I highly recommend it.
