A likely forgettable but still enjoyable story. It dragged in some places and as a whole leaned more towards action rather than horror, but all in all it was a fast and fun read. The antagonists were a unique and pleasant surprise compared to the typical crossroads demon trope, though I wish they had been fleshed out more. I found the ending to be anticlimactic and there a few points throughout the novel where I was confused and unsure of what was actually happening.

Overall Grady has become an easy author for me to pick up and know what to expect, a fast past entertaining story that won’t necessarily rock my world but will be good enough to pull me out a a reading slump.
