ARC Review!

This dual POV contemporary romance forms part of the "Guided to Love" series, and while it is the second book in the series, it can be read as a standalone.

In a small town where everybody knows everybody, Jodi is the proud owner of a quaint coffee shop, serving as the epicentre for the town's gossip. Close by is the fire station, where the three Joseph brothers serve their town. Among the eldest, Will and Price have purchased a house and are in the process of transforming it into a bed and breakfast.

When an electrical fire leaves Jodi homeless, she is offered a room at the yet-to-officially-open B&B, making her their very first guest. It is now that Price, the middle brother, begins to truly see Jodi for who she is. Meanwhile, Jodi had secretly crushed on Price for years.

Jodi is a people-pleaser, struggling with many insecurities and familial challenges. When Price starts expressing his interest for her, her doubts set in, leading her to wonder whether his feelings for her are genuine or if she's just another fling.

Price, on the other hand, sets out to prove that he is more than just his good looks, but also possesses intelligence, and he's ready to take on more responsibilities at the fire station. For years, he had maintained a secret career in modelling for book covers, which earned him enough to invest significantly in the B&B. Misconceptions about his true intentions persist, with people still doubting his genuine commitment to Jodi and taking on greater responsibilities.

If you enjoy reading spicy small town romances, the story of Jodi and Price will surely pique your interest. As they deal with challenges that come their way, you will witness how their feelings for each other deepen and how their relationship starts to grow.

And finally, if you're a fan of a super-grumpy MMC, make sure to watch out for book 3, featuring the story of Will, the eldest Joseph brother.
