The Vagabond by Colette
3.0

For a book about being a vaudeville performer, I wished there was more about the vaudeville living. The story is mostly about our protagonist inner dialogue about being a single, independent woman in the 1920s, which I did appreciate, but as a bit of a theatre nerd I would’ve liked to hear more about her touring life. (This translation was also a bit odd from time to time, but maybe that was just me.)
