i went into this without prior knowledge of the first book in this series, and it’s safe to say i will definitely be going back to read it!
other than the characters, the world we’re in really drives the story forward. from the very beginning, we’re introduced to our small-town farm-industrial world and how important that is for our main character alex. with her busy life and her sweet vegetable garden, alex is an active protagonist who was loveable and could easily be rooted for. after getting involved with nate, her brother’s best friend and sexy billionare, you’re immediately hooked on their relationship (or the knowledge that there shouldn’t be one
