I expected to love ‘The Devils’ based on my experience with Abercrombie’s other work, but I did not expect to love it this much! I laughed out loud, I gasped, I shrieked, I cried, I exclaimed “wow,” and “yuck” the whole way through. I absolutely adore Abercrombie’s narrative voice, and I cannot praise highly enough the way he wove it into these amazing new characters. Catch me itching for the next instalment just as ravenously as the Vigga-wolf hungers for the good meat
