All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven

5.0

wow okay.. before reading the other reviews for this and re-reading All The Bright Places over and over I need to write down how I feel about it because this book is too spectacular to just let it go. I'm not one for writing reviews or when I do- then they're as short as possible. Its been roughly 22 hours since I completed this book and I read it in a day (obviously). I don't want to go on about how perfect it was because then I'll start wondering if anyone disliked reading it which will make me mad.. it was too good beyond words. I hardly ever read 5 star books often (sorry to authors who really try but my taste is just all over) and when I actually do, they never affect me as much as this beautiful one did... I really really would like to thank Jennifer Niven, I have no idea if you wrote this based on real events or completely made up but I promise you Theodore Finch is a name I will never forget. When I finished this book I didn't know whether to dislike it or be overjoyed that I finally read something I completely loved... why I would dislike it is obvious, Finch was just so special and yes he found where he always wanted to be but I really didn't want him to disappear in order for that to happen plus poor Violet dealing with no elder sister as well as the light of her life leaving her too. Thank you for creating this, you included sensitive topics and explained them to us in a way its impossible to not think about... and yes I cried whilst reading the end.. I would say I'm embarrassed for being such a weakling but nah Theo was worth it. It is not possible to explain how much of an impact this book left on me and how I will never forget any of the soul filled quotes, just thank you a million times and thank you to Theodore Finch the brilliant non-freak lovely guy & lovely ultraviolet remarkey-able.
