I wanted to enjoy this book, but about halfway through, Madeline turned into an awful person.
- telling everyone she thought Billy was an idiot, just because she babysat him when he was a child.
-the next book better be where Beau sues her for slander.
- Unsympathetic to a woman who just lost her lover and home they shared.
- after knowing Tandy for maybe a week, told her friends and family that she understood how they felt.
Does Madeline stay this annoying throughout the series?
