This moved me in such an ineffable way. It felt as though it was written explicitly for the deepest darkest love within me. The kind that aches and follows you through every subsequent moment of your life. It felt as if it took the feeling I have long searched for the words to describe and imparted it to me in at times rough, always raw, hard to swallow, yet easy to devour poetry. I don’t always believe that there are others who truly experience life & love this way, this book is proof that it is real and I am not alone in it. Call me by your name is the essence of a flame I have always and will always carry.
