Finale

So....
The Good Stuff:
- Scarlett was great in this book; smart and sharp. I've always loved her character the most because I felt like I could trust her to think things through and go with the best course of action. That remained true for this book. I never disagreed with her and she was the main factor that made me love this book.
- Still love Jacks, no one can change my mind.
- I loved the fight against the Fates. I felt like they should have been the enemy the whole time. Ironically, my favorite Caraval book is the one without Caraval. I hated the premise of the game so this was definitely a step up.
The Bad Stuff:
- Tella. She didn't annoy me as much in this one, but I just hated her "I can handle myself" attitude she always had right before making yet another huge mistake.
- Still not sold on Legend, don't like liars, sorry not sorry.
- Many characters don't get their stories wrapped up. I don't know what happened to a bunch of people.
- Something that got real old for me was the elaborate descriptions and similes about how lavish everything is. I felt like I would get paragraphs-worths of description for a table. Then another paragraph for the spoons. It just felt like overkill most of the time.
TL;DR: This series just wasn't for me. I liked Scarlett and I came around for Julian, but there just wasn't much for me here.
