Instructions for Dancing
by Nicola Yoon
The was a really sweet story and i did enjoy it as a whole, but i don’t think it will stay with me. The ending (i see a lot of people were unhappy with) and while it isn’t the HEA most people want, i liked it the most. Not every story is a HEA forever and i appreciated the realisticness of it.
My big issue with this book was that it felt rushed but also slow? I’m not sure how to explain it, but almost like i was bored, but once it started to pick up the characters didn’t have enough time imo.
As an audiobook girl, these narrators were not for me. I think if i revisited this book as a digital or physical copy I would probably enjoy it / rate it higher. The narrators just didn’t seem emotionally invested and it was a turn off for me. They bored me.
I would recommend the book as a whole. I didn’t hate it, I didn’t love it. I would recommend not listening to the audiobook.
