Love & Misadventure by Lang Leav

5.0

I first discovered Miss Leav on tumblr. The occasional collection of words, but I didn't really understand that these little poems were by a published author until I found several being posted and reblogged. So I looked her up and decided I needed to own her collections.

Her words are more simple than you would expect; the diction and structure not terribly complicated. But they resonate. So many of these little snippets of thoughts and quiet rhymes emanate the truth about broken hearts, missed reunions, and hopeful losses.

I've never been in love myself, but I can still connect with her poems. I can sit there; read, nod, and breath in a dozen words arranged just so.
