This book was definitely meh. I expected it to consist mainly of build-up to the civil war - since in my mind this is a HUGE EVENT, why would the whole thing be in one book? But then only about two issues in heroes are already punching each other, and by the end the whole thing seems pretty much wrapped up already.

I was also sad that the teams seem created completely arbitrarily. I want to see the politics! I want to know *why* each hero chooses their side!

I assume those explanations are in the tie-ins. I guess that's the downside of reading TPBs - if I had read these in floppy form, all of the series would be progressing in parallel, and there would be a whole lot more context and drama.

Oh well. I still hope that the tie-ins will be fun to read.
