This book gave Nesta the character development she so desperately needed. The addition of her creating her own friend group and family, while trying to heal the bonds she broke with her sisters and their friends shows how Nesta is working to be better. HOWEVER, her and Cassian’s relationship was predictable and mostly just sex, sadly. I wish Sarah had given them more time to truly become close friends and know more about each other on a deposed level before they started getting physical, or before the mating bond was declared (even though everyone had already guessed it). I entered this book with a strong dislike for Nesta and a love for Rhysand and Feyre, and came out loving Nesta and Cassian, and feeling bored with Rhysand and Feyre. I’m super excited for the next book and what is to come.
