A Fate of Wrath & Flame by K.A. Tucker

Sarah J. Maas and Jennifer Armentrout had a baby…

This has been sitting on my “To Read” for so long and I finally caved and listened to it via audiobook and was not disappointed. The lore here feels familiar, but also unique. You feel like you’ve read similar things, but they’re being explored in a fresh new way. This is a book I would recommend to someone in an ACOTAR, TOG, or “From Blood and Ash” hangover. It has similar vibes.

The only thing I didn’t love is the relationship development. I felt like it snuck up out of nowhere. As in, one minute they weren’t a thing, then the next they’re jumping in bed together. I wanted to see them grow closer through this and I felt as if that were lacking.

I’m really interested to see where the story goes from here and the patch of self discovery that Romeria has before her.
