While I usually loathe stories that jump between timelines, this book did it flawlessly! I dived into this book immediately after finishing the first, and I think all the twists from the last book had me seriously anxious this entire book, just waiting for all the new twists to come, because I knew they were coming! And, boy did this book deliver! It did feel like a bit of a slog towards the beginning of the middle but not for long! I can't wait to read the next one!!!
