Karen M. McManus holds the mantle as queen of YA thriller, she writes tense and compelling stories that always give me goosebumps. I have to say You’ll Be the Death of Me wasn’t as strong as her previous writings and at times the story felt a little ridiculous. But I did have fun reading it, which is what I ideally want from my reading experience with YA thrillers.
The characters could have done with a little more depth and they felt a little bland and done. But the story was clever in the end and I liked seeing it all map out.
