It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover

dark emotional informative inspiring reflective sad tense fast-paced

5.0

Instead of giving a more detailed review like I normally do, I'll just write down some of the emotions I had while reading it;

Warmth
Calmness
Suprise
Realization
Anger
Panic
Confusion
Hope
Peace

I know that all these might be a bit vague, but I just wanted to give you the plethora of emotions I felt while reading it, in the order that I felt them.
I knew where the story was heading since chapter 10, I even text to one of my friends about it and said "well, that and that is gonna happen, for that I'm sure", she didn't say anything, because she's amazing and she would never spoil the story for me, but I knew. I could see where the thing was heading before it even started and I wanted to be wrong about this, but unfortunately, I have a good sense for these things. So I didn't cry, but I rather absorbed everything this story had to offer. Lessons that I'll keep like a talisman.

This was my first Collen Hoover novel and honestly, I can't wait to read something else by her soon. She has an extraordinary mind, which I can definitely tell. I'm so happy that she gave us the privilege to take a glimpse inside her own universe and be part of this dark and yet beautiful story.
